I met a Man, He lived next door.

I met a Man, he said hello when I was opening my door.

I met a Man, he brought fresh Egg Nog.

I drank it in the evening while I watched the fog.

I met a Man, He was always friendly and cool with a smile.

Sometimes we would hang out and talk a while.

I met a Man, He spoke of his wife.

He said she was the light of his life.

I met a Man, He told me his days were smooth as a line.

Whenever I got jealous, he would say, soon it will be your time.
